Overview

America’s War for Independence was waged with muskets and cannon—but also with prayer and faith. In Battlefield Faith: Untold Stories from America’s Fight for Freedom — 1775-1776, Lt. Gen. Jerry Boykin (Ret.), original Delta Force member and former commander of U.S. Army Special Forces, teams with Dr. Kenyn Cureton, pastor and historian, to take us on a journey through the early battles of the American Revolution. Drawing from letters, diaries, sermons, memoirs, and eyewitness accounts, they uncover remarkable faith stories of commanders, chaplains, and ordinary soldiers who prayed, trusted God, spoke of Providence, and risked everything in America’s fight for freedom.
